Minutes of the second meeting of the Tri-State chapter
held on September 14, 1996 at William Gale's Cottage

Introductions
- Welcomed new members and guests
  - new members: Edward Nash
  - guests: Michael Fenimore, and John Perry
- Listened to their background information

Discussion of potential projects for next years conclave
- Suggested projects include:
  - Build model of Asgard
  - Build model of OTEC
  - vote on projects tabled for next meeting
- Gale's Millennial Ventures idea discussed in more detail
  - The chapter was very excited about this idea
  - Gale will write up proposal and send to Marshall
- Tri-State chapter agreed to begin work on unifying three tiers of FMF
  - Tier One: Rifle group
  - Tier Two: Internet group
  - Tier Three: Chapter system

Summary of Conclave 1996 given by Sam and Nick
- Began with brief description of what the Conclave is and led into description of what Core and Cladding membership was, for those that did not already know
Vote taken to decide on buying chapter kit using chapter funds
- The vote was unanimous in favor of purchasing the kit
  - Five in favor
  - Zero against

Upcoming meeting schedules
- We have agreed to hold meetings on every second Sunday of the month, unless otherwise notified
- Next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, October 13, 1996 at Sam's home.
