A Little Bit About Me
Above, you can see a picture of me from a few years ago. I am 38 years old, have blue eyes, brown hair, and am about 5' 8" tall. I live in Prospect, Connecticut which is located 45 minutes from my job in East Hartford. I was born in Ukraine, and moved to Connecticut when I was three years old. I understand Russian, and almost speak it fluently. I graduated from The University of Connecticut with a BS in Biology in May of 1996. During the second semester of my Freshman year at Uconn, I joined Triangle Fraternity, and have been an active member of the Greek community throughout my four years at college. Now I work full time for 3M (as a computer programmer).
On May 25, 2002 I married Michelle Stearns. Michelle and I had dated for two and a half years before we decided to tie the knot. We flew to Hawaii for a two week long honeymoon the day after the wedding. We stayed in Maui, Kauai and Oahu. Maui was by far our favorite of the three islands.
On April 13, 2004 at 12:45PM, Michelle gave birth to our first child. We had a gorgeous, healthy girl. Her name is Madison Victoria Donskoy. She was born at Milford Hospital weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces. Here are some pictures of Madison.
On January 22, 2008 at 1:23PM, Michelle gave birth to our second child. We had a happy, healthy boy. His name is Alexander Luke Donskoy. Alex was born at Milford Hospital weighing 8 pounds 4 ounces. Here are some pictures of Alex.
Here is a list of things I like to do:
My hobbies include, but are not limited to: mountain biking, reading books, playing chess, computers, volleyball, sailing, soccer, hiking, camping, skiing, swimming, partying with my friends, and stargazing with beautiful women. When I'm not working or doing any of these other activities, you'll often find me off by myself dreaming of the future and wondering what it will be like. I am an avid futurist.
Here is a list of things which really annoy me:
I have no respect for people that don't do their fair share of work. I get annoyed by people who spend their time finding all the faults in the world instead of doing something to fix them. I despise Laziness. It really bugs me when people don't keep their promises, or break dates. And above all, I wish that people would stop taking advantage of other people's respect.
Philosophy on life:I believe that life is a very precious and fragile gift, and every day should be lived to its fullest. Never regret the things you've done, but if you've done something you're not very proud of, learn from it and don't do it again. Most importantly try to contribute something to the world, don't assume that someone else will do what you think is important, because it will never get done. Lastly, try to be optimistic about the future, so that you will look forward to living in it when it comes.
